What We Do

The Office of the Chief of Staff provides direct support to the Chief Executive Officer. The Chief of Staff acts for, represents, and exercises the authority of the Chief Executive Officer in directing the implementation of plans, policies, and programs. The Chief of Staff coordinates the activities of system officers for the efficient operation of all schools and offices. Within the Office of the Chief of Staff, the Executive Directors of Elementary and Secondary Schools oversee school and principal accountability, and the Office of New Initiatives coordinates and oversees district-wide strategic reforms and new school creation.
