Lakeland students and teachers answered the Lakeland Big Ideas Challenge! Student projects addressing a community need or problem are on display in the library. Come by and take a look, and leave your comments or questions for our Big Thinkers in the Lakeland mailbox. Lakeland School is a community school located in southwest Baltimore. The Lakeland Lions feature a proud community of learners focused on constant growth. Students arrive at Lakeland and join our pride in pre-kindergarten, staying with our family through the eighth grade. To prepare our students for success in a knowledge-based economy, we use mastery and inquiry based learning to ensure that all of our students exceed Maryland State Standards. Our goal is to produce 21st-century leaders and entrepreneurs with the means of understanding, the foresight of methodology, and the ability to act.
