Carver Vo-Tech is one of two schools in the state of Maryland to have P-Tech, a six year program for students that offers early college and Career Technology Education and real world experience to prepare students for jobs in the health and technologies industries.
Students in P-Tech, which stands for Pathways in Technology Early College High School, graduate with a high school diploma, an associate degree, and will be first in line for jobs in their fields. Carver Vocational-Technical High School will host P-Tech starting this school year, 2016-2017. IBM, Johns Hopkins University, Kaiser Permanente, University of Maryland, Baltimore City Community Watch and the State of Maryland partnered to bring this program to City Schools.
