Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! I am looking forward to another excellent year of student growth and success.  Our entire instructional and administrative teams are extremely excited to begin this school year working towards our mission of providing all of our students meaningful learning experiences that will transform them into creative, reflective, and analytical problem-solvers who are compassionate and prepared to compete and persevere in an evolving world. We know that with the support of all of our families and community partners this mission will be accomplished!

Middle School breakfast is at 7:50 AM and classes begin at 8:00 AM; Elementary School breakfast is at 8:05 AM and classes begin at 8:25 AM Students in grades 4 & 5 will meet their homeroom teachers in the Outdoor Classroom. Students in grade K-3 & 6-8 will report directly to their homeroom class.

  • PTO General Meeting

    On Wednesday, September 14th, all parents are invited to attend the first PTO General Meeting of SY 2016-2017. The meeting will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the Upper Building Gym before the start of Back-To-School Night. Come and learn about the PTO, PTO events & budget! Plus hear important updates from the Principal. Complimentary childcare for MWS students will be available.

  • Back to School Night

    On Wednesday, September 14th, we invite you to participate in Back-to-School Night from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Parents will have a chance to meet teachers and get information about the particular curricular program. This is not a conference night to discuss individual student achievement. The purpose of the night is to understand the expectations of each program so that you can help your MWS student meet those expectations successfully. Complimentary childcare for MWS students will be available.

  • PTO Dues

    We ask families each year to pay PTO dues in the amount of $20 per family (not per child). The annual dues fee benefits the school and helps to support the various activities planned for the upcoming year. Dues can be paid online at In addition, dues can be paid using cash, check or credit at Sneak-A-Peak and Back-To-School Night. A dues envelope will be provided.
