City Schools library media program provides access to both print and online resources, and integrates information and technology literacy skills with all curricular content in support of high achievement for every student.
The online catalog allows you to browse all library holdings at each school. By arrangement with the Enoch Pratt Free Library , students can access additional online databases and resources. Ask your school's librarian for additional information and support.
In addition to the Pratt Library, City Schools benefits from the support of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation's Library Project , which has harnessed millions of dollars and in-kind donations to renovate selected elementary and elementary/middle school libraries around the district — contributing to the district's goal of bringing 21st-century learning environments to all students. These renovated libraries also serve their communities by opening outside the regular school day so that parents and community members can access library and technology resources.
In addition, the Target Corporation and Heart of America have provided books and a face lift to two of school libraries through its Supporting K-12 Students program.
