Sick Leave Conversion (2017)
This year, all eligible employees who want to receive a Sick Leave Conversion payment will automatically be paid, and are not required to indicate a conversion decision. Employees who currently receive direct deposit for their regular pay will receive the Sick Leave Conversion payment via direct deposit; employees who receive a check for their regular pay will receive the Sick Leave Conversion payment via check. Both will be paid on Friday, December 1.
Beginning Thursday, November 16, all eligible employees will be able to see their sick leave conversion earned, sick used, and sick leave conversion days to be paid by accessing Employee Self Service and clicking the Sick Leave Conversion link.
Sick Leave Conversion eligible employees who do not wish to receive payment must indicate their decision on Employee Self Service by the close of business on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
Sick Leave Bank Enrollment for Unions - BTU, PSRP, CUB, L44, PSASA, and FOP
All leave eligible employees who wish to maintain membership or join the Sick Leave Bank with their respective union must elect to participate during the enrollment period for the 2017-2018 school year.
The Enrollment period will be available online through Employee Self Service beginning, Monday, October 30, 2017 and ending on the evening of Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
- Employees will need to indicate their decision to join and contribute to the Sick Bank by checking the box under the link SICK BANK ENROLLMENT.
- Employees wishing to participate must contribute the hourly equivalent of a day of Sick Leave. If the employee’s available sick leave balance drops below the required contribution amount prior to November 16, the employee will no longer be eligible to participate in this program.
- Employees should print and retain a copy of the confirmation page for proof of election.
Note: This process does not affect “Sick Leave Conversion”.
