The Information Technology (IT) Office provides strategic planning, application development, technology implementation services and integration of technology tools in support of instructional objectives and business needs, and provides technology infrastructure and data systems to support student learning, business continuity, budgeting, procurement, contract management, safety and security, business continuity, and E-Rate management.

Application Services

Ensures the availability of instructional and business data systems, responds to requests, maintains systems, and develops new applications in support of district priorities, and manages and develops data systems for student information, financial management, human resource management, food and nutrition, and transportation

    Oversees call center services to streamline handling of inbound telephone calls and improves customer service by reducing wait times, transfers, and abandonment; develops, deploys, enhances, maintains, and troubleshoots the district’s technology infrastructure and technology tools, providing technical assistance, laptop/desktop services, and customer support for schools and offices; and ensures that staff and students have tools that enable them to use technology safely and in secure online environments

  • Infrastructure Services

    Provides network connectivity in all district schools and other facilities, including technical support for the district’s wide and local area networks, data cabling and wiring, and telecommunication; monitors and maintains the district’s Internet connectivity, business and disaster recovery sites, and the district’s data centers and server farm
