Baltimore City College

#480

Baltimore City College is the nation’s third oldest public high school. As an International Baccalaureate World School, City College offers a rigorous college-preparatory program that incorporates communication, intercultural awareness, and inquiry-based learning. Our school motto, Palmam Qui Meruit Ferat (“Honor to the one who earns it”), reflects our commitment to hard work and excellence. Graduates include Nobel Prize, Pulitzer Prize, and Emmy Award winners; elected officials; professional athletes; and prominent artists.

Please note that the City College campus 'Castle on the Hill' is currently undergoing renovations. During that time, students are learning in a University of Baltimore swing space.
