At Claremont High School, we offer a wide-variety of intensive, IEP driven interventions in reading instruction.  Students are offered a class placement based on standardized reading assessments.  The first part of Literacy instruction is in phonics in district-wide and research based curriculums.  The first, Fundations, is a phonics curriculum, focusing on laying the foundation for cross-curricular instruction.  The second, System 44, is technology driven and uses voice recognition software.
