• Welcome to the William Pinderhughes Library Page

Many exciting things are happening in the library this year!

The Middle School Library Aide Service Hours Program started the second week of October and now has 12  7th and 8th grade students enrolled and earning their 75 community service hours. We work two days each week after school for an hour sorting and shelving books, processing books, and working on library displays. Ms. Rodowsky is very proud of the children who have taken advantage of this program in order to ready themselves for their high school career.

As well, the library received a $200.00 donation from Mr. John Deermer, a local library supporter, for the purchase of book processing materials.  This generous donation is enabling the library to start to process hundreds of donated books so that the collection can grow and the children have a good selection of books to chose from on a weekly basis.  Mr. Joe Altemus has donated $200.00 for the exclusive purchase of books and supplies for the library.  Mrs. Warner & Ms. Ryan have also each donated $50.00  for the exclusive purchase of books and supplies for the library.  We are all so greatful for our generous supporters!
