Highlandtown Elem/Middle

Clubs & Programs

      Robotics Club
 
   Administered by Tracey Mack and Dale Stalley, the RoboHawks are Highlandtown Elementary Middle School’s Robotics Program.   Our students work with VEX Robotics materials to design and construct small robots that can operate autonomously (on their own) and with the use of a controller or joystick.  The RoboHawks participated in a Robotic Competition with other middle school students across the state on November 19, 2011.  They persevered during that competition and demonstrated a high level of character and sportsmanship.  Our next competition will February 25, 2012 at Western High School.  Our students have already begun building new robots for that competition.  Admission is free and open to the public.
