Just announced: Monday, June 16, is the last day of the school year for students

The calendar below is followed by all schools, with the following exceptions:
  • Five schools (City Springs Elementary/Middle School, Furman Templeton Elementary School, KIPP Harmony Academy, KIPP Ujima Village Academy, New Song Academy) offer “intersession” programming.
  • Some charter schools follow different calendars, particularly with respect to early release days throughout the year.

*City Schools has received a waiver from the Maryland State Department of Education, which allows the district to end the school year for students on Monday, June 16. An announcement regarding the last day for teachers and other school-based staff is forthcoming, pending confirmation by the Board of School Commissioners.
