Here at Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School, we have a real focus of appreciation for our volunteers and we look forward to a continued Exchange. Parent involvement at Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School is organized into committees. Each committee is run by a chair who reports to the board that governs our school.  Please consider joining one of the committees below!

Committee: Events and Fundraising

 Plan school social events for families to get together and fundraising events that raise funds for innovative programs and projects that enrich the learning environment and experience.

Committee: Greening

This committee will focus on supporting the greening initiatives at the school as well as assisting classrooms with the integration of environmental education and use of outside area as an outdoor classroom.

Committee: Food   

This committee will focus on how to support the food and nutrition program in terms of both the running of the student kitchen and efforts to expand educational opportunities for students.

Committee: Advocacy

The committee will organize parents to represent the school in support of charter school issues with Baltimore City Schools, the State Legislature, and Congress; organize phone calls or emails in support of key charter issues; and represent the school as part of the Baltimore Education Coalition.
