    OrchKids & RAP

OrchKids (Orchestra Kids), sponsored by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, is a day and after-school program that uses music as a vehicle for creating social change and cultural awareness. Students participating in the OrchKids program will receive music education based on "active learning" principals, incorporating age appropriate games and activities to teach the fundamentals of music and musicianship. RAP, the Rebuilding Art Project, provides hands-on arts integration across the curriculum throughout the school year. Each year RAP volunteers assist students and parents in creating ceramic tile projects, authentic drawings, paintings and beautiful student created murals. The RAP program and their volunteers have been an integral part of Lockerman-Bundy arts integration efforts since 2006.
