A: 701 Rappolla Street, Baltimore, MD 21224. We are located across from John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, three blocks from Eastern Avenue.

Q: How do I find out when the school is closed?
A: All preplanned closings mandated by the school system are noted in the school calendar and the monthly school newsletter. They will also appear on our web site. Click on the calendar tab.
Q: What are the school hours?
A: School begins at 7:45 a.m. Students may enter the cafeteria at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. Students not having breakfast should remain outside until the bell rings. Students must be seated in their classrooms by 7:55 a.m., when morning announcements start. Students arriving past 7:55 a.m. must get a late pass in the main office. School ends at 2:25 p.m. for elementary students (pre-k-5) and 2:30 p.m. for middle school students (6-8).
Q: Are students required to wear uniforms?
A: Yes. The school uniform is a white top and navy blue bottom for elementary school. Students in elementary school also have the option of wearing navy blue tops and khaki bottoms. Middle school students wear khaki bottoms and the color shirt assigned to their grade level. For the 2017-2018 school year, middle school colors are as follows: Grade 6 – LIGHT BLUE shirts, Grade 7 – PURPLE shirts, and Grade 8 – BLACK shirts.
Q: What is the attendance policy?
A: Students are responsible for arriving at school on time every day and for attending every class. Parents are responsible for making sure their children attend school every day, for maintaining regular contact with school, and for sending a note to school explaining the reason for absence or lateness. Q: How much do breakfast and lunch cost?
A: School meals (breakfast and lunch) are FREE for all City Schools students every day.
Q: What is the policy for visiting the school?
A: All visitors must enter through the main doors at the front of the building. All visitors are required to sign in at the main office and get a Visitor sticker. If you would like to visit a teacher, please make an appointment prior to coming to school.
