• Academic Year 2015-16 School Performance Plan (SPP) Purpose Statement:

    The School Performance Plan (SPP) is a tool designed to support principals and school leadership teams in improving overall school performance, with an emphasis on instruction and student achievement. The tool acts as an anchor in a year-round reflective evaluation process that relies on data-informed decision making to drive documented school-level strategic planning. It is designed to capture strategies aligned with resources that support instructional priorities, aculture of achievement, and community and parent engagement to promote improved student outcomes.

    Specifically, the plan requires each school to:

    1. Reflect on the prior academic year goals and progress made and/or not made;
    2. Gather and analyze various student achievement data and think about how adult actions in our school community helped student achievement to increase or decline;
    3. Use the data to identify the top strengths and needs; and
    4. Create Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timeboud (SMART) goals around the priorities that have been identified and a plan for monitoring and revising any actions that are not resulting in significant increases in student achievement.
