OUR SCHOOL NAME
Colonel James Mosher, born in Massachusetts, served as a general in the Revolutionary War. Later he came to Baltimore and helped to survey the Port of Baltimore. He served in Baltimore City Council from 1811 to 1818. Mosher Street was named for him when the first section was opened in 1847.
OUR SCHOOL PLEDGE
I will work for the safety and happiness of others as I would want them to work for my safety and happiness.
I will try to be careful and courteous all the time and everywhere.
I will not take any unnecessary chances of getting hurt, and will warn others against doing so.
I will do my part to help reduce the number of accidents this year and to make our school a pleasant place for living and working.
All this I will do for the sake of each person and the honor of my school.
