Mission Statement:

To provide the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and employees of City Schools with prompt, creative and accurate legal counsel, investigations and compliance services.

What We Do:

• Defend the Board and its employees or agents in Federal, State, local and administrative proceedings
• Provide advice and counsel to the Chief Executive Officer, the Board and management
• Assist the Board and Chief Executive Officer in updating and developing administrative policies and procedures which support all of the Master Plan objectives.
• Investigates allegations and complaints in the areas of fraud, financial improprieties, theft, misconduct and inappropriate behavior by members of City Schools.
• Provide assistance to minority and women owned businesses who wish to participate in the City Schools procurement program.
• Responsible for ensuring City Schools’ compliance with federal, state and local Equal Opportunity laws through the administration of EEO programs and the investigation of EEO complaints.
