Student Hotline

The Office of Guidance Services, through funding from the Safe and Drug Free Schools Grant, operates a student hotline so that students with concerns or questions can talk to a trained student helper about issues such as drugs, homework, conflict resolution, peer mediation, recreational activities, mentorship programs, peer pressure, loneliness, boy/girl relationships, etc. Adult supervision is provided at all times. All students in grades 5-12 are encouraged to make use of the hotline. During the school year, the hotline does not operate on days when schools are closed. Student helpers receive service learning hours for the time that they spend in training and operating the Students Helping Students Hotline. Students interested in training should contact their school counselor.

Hours: Monday through Thursday
4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
