There are many special programs in the Baltimore City Public School System. These programs provide students and their families with specific resources, from Advanced Academic classes and Gifted and Talented programs, to English language assistance for students from homes where English is not the primary language spoken. Maryland Special Programs

The State of Maryland is offering a variety of programs for gifted and talented students, in their 2005 Maryland Summer Centers for Gifted and Talented Students. Programs will be offered in the arts, science and the environment, mathematics, engineering, and cultural history. Information about the program, and the application form and instructions are available on-line.
