George M. VanHook is currently employed as a Family Investment Work Program coordinator with the Maryland State Department of Human Resources. His responsibilities include administrative and technical support for the Family Investment Program. He also serves as a support liaison to the Baltimore City Department of Social Services.
Mr. VanHook has experience with Maryland’s legislative process, having served as an administrative analyst for the Department of Fiscal Services with the Maryland General Assembly. His duties included analyzing proposed legislation and preparing reports for committee members on major policy issues. Mr. VanHook has also served as an independent governmental affairs consultant.
Mr. VanHook holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
