Dominique Duval

Dominique Duval is currently a senior at the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, #403. The role of Student Commissioner encompasses working extremely close with the Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City (ASCBC), a student led organization whose goal is to educate students on the role and importance of student voice and student engagement with regards to their education. In addition to being Student Commissioner, Dominique is involved in many other extracurricular activities, including being a member of the National Honor Society, as well as her school’s Physics Olympics Club and N2Him Christian Learning Club.

She is also a member of the Alpha Alpha Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Inc., a high school affiliated club that teaches leadership, service, and greater progress to young women. Currently, Dominique is completing a fourteen-month internship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where is she has been working on a project that involves the use of retinal implants on low-vision patients.
