Anirban Basu is Chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., and is one of the mid-Atlantic region’s most recognizable economists. Mr. Basu has been active in the areas of health economics, the economics of education and economic development. He has conducted numerous economic and fiscal impact analyses, conducted educational seminars, and has authored a number of high profile economic development strategies. He is a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, host of the Morning Economic Report radio show on Baltimore’s WYPR and a Board Member of the City Schools.
Mr. Basu holds a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. He earned his Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in 1992. He earned his Master’s in Economics at University of Maryland, College Park in 1998. His Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law was obtained in 2003. |
