School Board Rules - Introduction

The BCPSS School Board Rules, as stated in the document below, represent the cooperative effort of staff members, Board members, students and citizens toward developing policies designed to effect the best possible educational programs for the children and youth of the City of Baltimore.

The Rules contained herein supersede the Board’s previous rules and represent the latest compilation by the Board. Supplements setting forth changes and additions will be issued as policies and will be reviewed and revised as appropriate to meet changing needs.

Staff members and other interested persons are invited to communicate suggestions and recommendations regarding the Rules to the Board.
