Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year!
“Nothing is going to have as great an impact on the success of your life as your education”- Barack Obama.
Here at Arlington Elementary Middle School, we believe every child has the potential for greatness! As a school family, it is our responsibility to provide a well rounded approach to educating the students we are privileged to serve.
Working together, our students will soar to greatness.
Please be prepared to sign-in at the main office, each visit, with a valid photo ID. Also, please drop and pick-up your child in the appropriate zones:
Zone 1: 5th and 6thgrade (In the front of the building using the main entrance)
Zone 2: PreK and K (Drop-offis the Tot Lot and Pick-up is either the Tot Lot or outside in front of theclassroom door. PLEASE refrain fromknocking on the door or entering the classroom/school prior to dismissal).
Zone 3: 1st thru 4thgrade (In the rear of the building using the rear entrance. Students arriving after 8:15 should use themain entrance to be issued a late pass)
Zone 4: 7th and 8thgrade (Outside the gate of the second modular building. Students arriving after 8:15 should use themain entrance to be issued a late pass.
Zone 5: Before care/After care(Outside the door to the before/after care room. Ring the bell for an employee).
-Drop-Off: Parents/guardians are asked to drop studentsoff at these zones between 7:55-8:00 so students are prepared to enter thebuilding when doors open promptly at 8:00. Students are not permitted in thebuilding prior to 8:00 unless there is inclement weather (severe storms ortemperatures below 32 degrees). In thatcase, students will report to the cafeteria from the rear entrance.
-Pick-Up: Early dismissals must be prior to 2:35. Students will not be released from classesafter 2:35. This disrupts end of the dayprocedures and routines for classes. Weask that parents remain in the PICK-UP zone for their children, who will bereleased promptly at 2:50 pm.
We are looking forward to a fabulous year! Thanks for all your support.
