Principal's Letter:

Mount Royal Elementary/Middle School is truly a school with a passion for excellence and for developing young minds. We strive daily to see that our students are exposed to the very best teachers and staff, a curriculum that supports the acquisition of knowledge to enhance academic growth and development, and a safe and orderly learning environment.

Our goal is to see that every student uses his/her potential to the fullest and is prepared for the next level of their education in the most challenging high school programs that Baltimore City Public Schools have to offer.

We consider our parents to be full partners in the education of their children and confer with them often to adjust the educational program to meet the needs of our students. This partnership expands to the community at large as we work with the arts community, neighborhood associations, agencies, churches and educational institutions to enhance the growth and development of our students.

Mount Royal Elementary/Middle School is a special place for our students and we strive daily to truly make it their “Home away from Home.”
