Poly's Air Force JROTC cadets are dedicated to making a difference!

In early October, 26 cadets cleaned up the shorelines of Middle Branch Park as part of Baltimore City’s Canoe and Scoop Program. Paired up in canoes or  individually in kayaks, they learned more about local waterways and collected trash along the way.

In less than two hours, cadets collected over 36 bags of garbage including plastic and glass bottles, styrofoam, and food wrappers. They even fished out an old tire, backpack, and plastic chair!
