Alternative to suspension and positive behavior programs

    Deadline: October 6

As part of the district’s emphasis on supporting student wholeness, City Schools is committed to using restorative practices rather than relying on punitive disciplinary responses. Schools can use a variety of alternatives to suspension and programs that promote positive behavior. Principals are asked to complete this survey by Friday, October 6 to identify which programs are in use at their school.

For questions about alternatives to suspension or positive behavior programs, please contact your student support liaison. For questions about the survey itself, email Amanda Ellison at aellison@bcps.k12.md.us
