Training on teacher SLOs
All principals and assistant principals / Deadline: September 21
Student Learning Objective (SLO) ambassadors are school-based BTU members who serve as experts in the SLO process and take a non-evaluative role in helping teachers at their school understand and participate in the process. The ambassadors participate in monthly meetings to ensure they have information and resources to support their colleagues.
The meeting from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, will provide an overview of the 2017-18 teacher SLO process and is open to school leaders. Each school is encouraged to send a principal or assistant principal to participate in this session. The meeting will be held in the auditorium at the Professional Development Center (2500 E. Northern Parkway). Leaders who cannot attend should discuss the information with their SLO ambassador as soon as possible.
