Study regarding district headquarters buildingAll leaders
As part of ongoing efforts to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency, initial steps have been taken to analyze whether the district’s administrative headquarters should remain at the North Avenue location or relocate. Working with community partners, Central Baltimore Partnership has issued a request for proposals for a study that will analyze short- and long-term costs of remaining in place versus moving and specifically whether relocation could result in cost efficiencies; and whether there is potential interest in this property for redevelopment (and if so, the implications of redevelopment for the neighborhood and city). The RFP process and the subsequent study will take several months to complete, and resulting action—if any—would occur further in the future. Staff will be updated as the process moves forward.
