Immunization information for school year 2017-18All principals and assistant principals
All students must have up-to-date immunization records for the 2017-18 school year; the requirements are listed here. There are only two valid exemptions to these requirements: a medical exemption from a doctor, or a religious exemption requested by parents. Both exemptions must be documented on form 896.
In the coming weeks, City Schools will release more information about immunization outreach for 6th-graders who will be out of compliance entering 7th grade, and 10th graders who are retained and will need immunizations under new requirements for school year 2017-18.
Note: Students under 18 years old who are not receiving medical assistance or other medical coverage (and are otherwise ineligible for the Free Vaccines for Children program) may receive immunizations at the Baltimore City Health Department TIKE Clinics.
