• Seeking members for community schools steering committee

    The new Board policy outlining the district’s community school strategy establishes a steering committee to coordinate
    • Overseeing designation of full-service community schools and the process by which that status is renewed
    • Integrating work with key agencies (e.g., Recreation and Parks, the Health Department)
    • Professional development for school leaders, staff, and community partners
    • Other activities as described in the administrative regulations
    The 15-member steering committee includes appointed members and members to be identified through an application process.

    City Schools, in partnership with the Family League, is now recruiting to fill the eight open seats.
