• Responding to harassment and bullying

    All leaders

Staff and students are encouraged to report instances of harassment or bullying. Once investigated, such incidents may prompt disciplinary action according to our Code of Conduct. District resources for students and families who experience harassment or bullying are available here; incidents can be reported using the printed form at the back of the Code of Conduct, or through the online form.

Anyone who believes he or she has been a victim of unlawful harassment or intimidation can also notify local law enforcement, the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights, or local human rights agencies. In addition, the Attorney General’s office has created a hotline at 866-481-8361 for reporting incidents motivated by a victim’s race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or homeless status.
