• Fall block PARCC administration and training for school testing coordinators

    High school principals and assistant principals / Deadline: October 28
    The fall PARCC administration window is December 5 to January 26. The following students are required to participate.

    ·         Students currently enrolled in these semester-long (semester 1 only) or trimester-long (trimester 1 only) courses:

    o   Algebra I

    o   Algebra II

    o   English II

    o   English III

    ·         Students who fall into one or both of these categories:

    o   Have previously earned an Algebra I course credit but do not have an Algebra HSA or PARCC ALG01 score on file 

    o   Have previously earned an English II course credit but do not have an English HSA or PARCC ENG10 score on file 

    (More information is forthcoming regarding the participation of students who have previously earned an Algebra II or English II course credit but have no PARCC ALG02 or ENG11 scores on file.)
    Schools with students participating in this PARCC administration must ensure that a school testing coordinator registers and participates in one of the following training sessions by October 28.


    For new STCs and those seeking intensive PARCC/ PearsonAccessNext training

    For returning STCs, with a review of PARCC/PearsonAccessNext training

    Wednesday, November 2

    9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

    1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

    Thursday, November 3

    9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

    1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

    November 4

    9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

    1:00 to 2:30 p.m.


    All sessions will be held in lab 110 at the Professional Development Center (2500 E. Northern Parkway). Morning sessions are limited to 15 participants each; afternoon sessions are limited to 20 participants each.
