    Nikomar Mosley

    Principal, Gwynns Falls Elementary School

I graduated from Lincoln University with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and from Goucher College with my master's in School Improvement Leadership.

I’ve been a City Schools employee since January 7, 2000.

Before I joined City Schools, I was a full-time undergraduate student at Lincoln University.

If I could have a cup of coffee with any of my former teachers, it would be Mr. Franklin Cleveland and Mrs. Della Veal.

My favorite books are the Bible, The Shack, This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness, and The Prophet.

One thing that many people may not know about me is that I am actually very shy and like to work behind the scenes.

When I was growing up, I wanted to be a teacher. This passion was confirmed in high school in my child psychology and development class.

The best thing about being a principal is being able to make a difference with my students, staff and families. I try my hardest to ensure that all of their needs are met.
