EDGAR certification formsAll principals and assistant principals / Deadline: August 25
All principals need to work with their grant managers to submit their completed EDGAR certification forms by Thursday, August 25. Twice a year, all staff positions funded by federal grant dollars (including Title I, Title II etc.) must be “certified.” This means that each principal or grant manager must complete an affidavit affirming that the staff member funded with grant dollars is working in their school and performing duties aligned with the grant. City Schools utilizes the Employee Certification Form as the affidavit for this required activity. Employee Certification Forms packets will be delivered to schools this week through inter-office mail and include the preprinted forms and a copy of the guidance documents (attached for reference). Principals and school-based grant managers must complete and return the enclosed forms to Cheryl Bird’s attention in the Office of Data Monitoring and Compliance (room 210) at 200 E. North Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202.
