Update: Transfer of student cumulative records
All principals and assistant principals / Deadline: August 19
Receiving schools that have not picked up their records for rising 6th and 9th graders need to do so immediately by visiting the Office of Student Records (200 E North Ave, Room 115). Those schools receiving active students from closing schools (Baltimore Community High School, Maritime, MATHS) will be contacted directly by the Office of Student Records regarding pick-up procedures.
As a reminder, families needing to make transfer requests from the Office of Enrollment and Attendance may do so until Friday, August 12. Once accepted, parents will be instructed to visit the student’s current school placement (per the gaining report in Infinite Campus) to request the appropriate transfer documents. It is the responsibility of the student’s currently assigned school to contact the receiving school to request the official student cumulative record.
Student cumulative records may be sent through interoffice mail if the student is transferring to another Baltimore City Public School. Please adhere to these steps to ensure the appropriate transfer of records.
1) Step 1: Cumulative record folder should be complete and include the most recent final report card/transcript, student record cards, proof of residency, birth certificate, immunizations
2) Step 2: Place cumulative record folder in a secured envelope
3) Step 3: Label the envelope with the sending school information and the receiving school information.
4) Step 4: Place a label on envelope stating that contains a cumulative record and is confidential.
For questions, please email the Office of Student Records.
