MSA Science and Alt-MSA Science home reports and score labels
All elementary and middle school principals | Deadline: June 27All elementary and middle school principals will receive their school’s home reports and score labels for students who participated in 2015-16 Maryland School Assessment in Science and Alternate-MSA Science by Tuesday June 22. Please provide a copy of the home reports to parents.
Per the 2016 Maryland Student Records Manual (p. 8, 18) schools are required to record all Maryland School Assessments (MSA), Alt-MSA, and other required state tests taken, in the student record card 4 (SR 4). Please hand enter or place the score label on the SRC 4 card. Additionally, please prioritize this activity so when and if a student’s cumulative record is transferred over the summer, then the student’s most recent information is available to the receiving school. Please submit a copy of the receipt verification form to the Office of Achievement and Accountability by Monday, June 27. If you receive home reports and score labels for students who are no longer attending your school, please forward them to the new receiving school. The home reports are not embargoed.
Summary score reports and individual student-level data from the 2015-16 MSA Science and Alt-MSA Science will be provided on Principal’s Dashboard and Data Link in mid-July. Principals will receive notification when this data becomes available.
For questions regarding entering information into a student’s cumulative record, please email the Office of Student Records. Questions related to the MSA and Alt-MSA Science home reports, please email Krishna Miller in the Office of Achievement and Accountability.
