• School Climate Transformation Collaborative

     All Principals  | Due: May 26, 2016

You are invited to learn more about a transformative climate program for SY 2016-2017 to help your school make immediate climate improvement. The Positive School Center (PSC) has developed a School Climate Transformation Collaborative.  The School Climate Transformation Collaborative (SCTC) will be using the Breakthrough Series Collaborative (BSC) approach which presents a groundbreaking framework for making planned change that is accessible, manageable and can produce immediate successful results at all levels of the school. The BSC is a quality improvement methodology that uses small-scale rapid tests of change. Instead of making a change throughout the entire system that requires years of planning, changes are made quickly in very small increments - in other words, what can you do by next Tuesday? These changes are measured and monitored closely so that successes can be expanded quickly and failures are not replicated.

If you would like to learn more about and/or participate in the School Climate Transformation collaborative please complete the brief interest survey online at:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/F32MDNG and plan to join us May 26, 2016 from 4-5 pm for an informational webinar.  Please RSVP for the webinar via email at positiveschools@ssw.umaryland.edu and we will send you the webinar link information.
