The Baltimore Principal Leadership Consultancy (BPLC) is a year-long experience designed to provide principals with high-quality, intensive, small-group professional development from peers with strong track records of leading children from low-income households to succeed at high levels. Participating principal mentees will be strategically paired with such a peer mentor to achieve ongoing improvement and excellence aligned with City Schools Leadership Framework to increase the number of children from low-income households who have access to high-quality education and effective instructional leadership.
Mentees in the program will engage in professional development each month, in addition to mentoring sessions, and cohort experiences to deepen learning, implementation, and reflection on leadership best practice.
