New principal applicationsAll leaders | Deadline: February 16 and beyond
All school leaders are encouraged to notify any interested staff that City Schools is now accepting applications for principal positions. To be eligible, candidates must hold/be eligible for Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate (Administrator I and II/Superintendent endorsements required), have five years of administrative and/or supervisory experience, and a Master’s degree. Applications can be found on the City Schools’ website.
Additionally, those interested in becoming a City Schools principal are encouraged to attend an information session on Tuesday, February 16, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., in Room 120 of the district office (200 E. North Ave., Baltimore, MD 21202). This information session will address eligibility criteria, application and candidacy processes, and characteristics of an effective City Schools’ principal. Candidates will be able to ask questions as well.
