• Hiring lead teachers

    All principals  |  Deadline: February 5

    Letters of Intent for lead teachers must be submitted by Friday, February 5. Lead teachers are part of a school’s leadership team and work specifically to contribute to the school in one or more investment areas: including instructional strategy, teacher coaching, student interventions, blended learning, and partnerships. Leads are Model BTU Professionals who have successfully completed an assessment center specifically designed to assess their skills for the position. 

    • To learn more about lead teachers, school leaders are encouraged to participate in an informational webinar about the lead position scheduled for Thursday, January 21 from 4 - 5 p.m. Please email the JGP to RSVP and to receive the webinar details.
    • Additionally, principals interested in hiring lead teachers are encourged to speak with a principal of a current Lead. Please email the JGP to be connected to a principal who can tell you more about the impact a Lead can have on your school.
