• Employee evaluations

All leaders  |  Deadline: ongoing through December 1

Please review the updated milestones and resources for 2015-16 employee evaluations.

Support for teacher Student Learning Objectives

TSS resources: Teacher SLO support materials for principals are available on TSS. Principals should use this guide and check TSS regularly for updates and additional information about teacher SLOs.

Support sessions: Support sessions for principals covering the teacher SLO process will be held at the district office (200 E. North Ave., Room 301) during the week of October 12 with each session from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Registration is required. Please note that due to space limitations, sessions are open to only one principal or assistant principal from each school.

    SLO ambassadors

Past due: If you have not yet nominated an SLO ambassador for your school, please select at least one eligible BTU employee immediately. SLO ambassadors are essential for guiding school leaders and teachers through the SLO process. More information is available regarding the required qualifications and the AU course for SLO ambassadors. For questions, please email the Human Capital Office.

School-based training for teachers: Your SLO ambassador(s) should have completed orientation training in TSS and received facilitation materials and a link to an electronic module for teachers. Please work with your SLO ambassador(s) to schedule your teachers’ SLO training.

    Access to evaluation systems

All electronic evaluation systems will open to supervisors on Monday, October 5. All supervisors should log into ERP no later than Friday, October 9, to ensure they have access to the appropriate evaluation systems and that all employees they supervise are correctly listed.
