Free flu immunizations for studentsElementary and elementary/middle school principals and assistant principals | Deadline: October 6
In partnership with Health Hero, City Schools will provide free flu mist administration to elementary and elementary/middle school students from November 2 to 6. To participate, schools must have parental permission in place for at least 25 students. Parent permission slips, which have already been delivered to schools, must be completed and returned to each school by Tuesday, October 6.Participating schools must provide set aside a location for administration—including a table, four chairs, and two medium-size trash cans—for approximately 90 minutes. This is an excellent opportunity for students to receive flu mist without having to leave school and miss instructional time, and receiving the immunization will lessen future absences due to influenza.
