• "No show" students

    All principals and assistant principals  |  Deadline: September 22 

    On Tuesday, September 15, data-quality contacts will provide each school with a list of “no show” students. Schools must make every effort to re-engage all students who have not attended school this new school year, including

    • Calling parents/guardians
    • Sending at least one letter to each student’s last known home address
    • Conducting a visit to the last known home address
    • Informing DSS in cases of students under age 13

    If these efforts are unsuccessful in re-engaging the student, then the withdrawal process must be completed with documentation of your due diligence sent to studentsupportdata@bcps.k12.md.us by Tuesday, September 22 for review.
