Teacher and leadership recruitment ambassadors

Highly talented teachers and administrators are essential for improving student achievement. As part of its strategic recruitment plan, the Human Capital Office is building a cadre of teachers and leaders to serve as ambassadors, assisting with staffing and interviewing at teacher recruitment fairs and conducting first-round interviews throughout the recruitment season.
The dedicated educators who will serve as ambassadors are an essential component for recruitment of the next generation of teachers and leaders, who will appreciate hearing first-hand from potential future colleagues to gain a genuine sense of the district and its schools. Training will be provided to all ambassadors, and travel arrangements for recruitment fairs will be made and funded by the Human Capital Office.
If you would like to join our ranks as a recruitment ambassador or recommend members of your staff to participate, please email Charles Mitchell in the Teacher Recruitment and Partnerships department by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30. In your message, please explain briefly why you would like to participate and would make an outstanding ambassador for the district. If you are recommending staff members, please provide their full names and a brief description of why you feel they would make great ambassadors.
