Free tickets for students to see Selma: Update
Middle and high school principals | Deadline: February 1
Thanks to the generosity of local donors, thousands of City Schools students can see the movie Selma at participating local theaters. Please note that the opportunity, which was originally available only to students in grades 7 to 10, has now been extended to include grades 11 and 12.
Many students have already taken advantage of this opportunity, and numerous schools have arranged to take student groups to matinee screenings. Theater contact information for group ticket sales and other details are available online.
Note that show times for the movie may change as of tomorrow, and the movie may be closing in some theaters as early as today, January 21. Please share the details of this opportunity with 7th- to 12th-grade students and their families as quickly as possible so they won't miss out, and advise them to check show times prior to leaving for the theater.
