School survey administration window

The window for this year's administration of City Schools' annual school survey runs from Monday, January 12, to Friday, February 27. All leaders should work to encourage a high degree of participation among all key stakeholders, including staff, students, and parents/guardians.
The school survey is an important component of ongoing efforts to monitor and improve the quality of the educational environment in our schools. Strong response rates ensure that survey results are valuable in informing school budget development, School Performance Plans, administrator evaluations, the annual review of the district's portfolio of schools, and the renewal process for operator-run schools.
As in the past, students should be given time during the school day to complete the survey. School-based staff members will receive a link to the survey via email; please ask them to check their City Schools email for the message. Parents can also complete the survey online (in various languages).
Administration information, the school survey tool kit, response rate targets, and weekly response rates for all schools will be regularly updated on City Schools Inside.
