Flu immunizations for students
Elementary and elementary/middle school principals | Deadline: immediate
Flu season has arrived, and with it the potential for disruption in teaching and learning resulting from extended absences when students become ill. To help keep our youngest students healthy, City Schools is collaborating with Health Hero Mid-Atlantic to provide flu mist immunizations at no cost to students in all elementary and elementary/middle schools.
Immunization release forms have been provided to immunization coordinators at each school. Please ensure that these forms are sent home with all students and that arrangements are in place for the immunizations to be administered. Coordinators have been requested to contact Health Hero Mid-Atlantic to report on the number of releases signed and returned by parents/guardians and to confirm the date for a school-based immunization clinic in December.
For questions, contact Louise Fink, director of the Home and Hospital Program at 443-226-1139 or by email.
