School portfolio review and recommendations

The School Portfolio Review and Recommendations, 2014-15, report was presented to the Board of School Commissioners on Tuesday, November 11. This annual report describes the district's work to provide high-quality school options to students and families across the city, and includes recommendations regarding charter/contract renewals, buildings plan amendments, reconfiguring school grade bands, and relocating or closing school programs.
The district website provides an overview of the review process as well as a downloadable version of the complete report. Please share the report with staff and members of school communities, along with information about providing feedback to the Board of Commissioners via written comment or at specially scheduled public hearings.
The Board expects to vote on the recommendations included in the report at a specially scheduled meeting on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
